Salutations,

Welcome to my page. I just want to give a little info about myself. First off let me start with my username: findingfitnessforever. I am a Nigerian female who was brought up in a Nigerian household. Now, if you know anything about Nigerian food it is not the most healthy thing to be eating all the time. Needless to say I have constantly struggled with my weight. In October 2009 I had hit my max of 250lbs. I immediately hit my breaking point and changed. Now height is on my side so while I am currently 227lbs I am also 5 feet and 10 inches. I have tried many diets and attempted to lose weight the quick way, but I am looking for a life changer I am looking to find fitness forever in all aspects of my life.

I am seeking for people to help and encourage me in this life change. I am excited to be here and love the atmosphere of this website. If you need encouragement advice or maybe a prayer just know, I'm your girl.

Protein
All I have found are roasted soybeans; it's called Feng Shui. I picked them up at a whole food store. One serving is 1/4 a cup. It is 130 calories/serving. It has 4g of fat and 13g of protein. It is not the most tasty thing ever my sister refers to it as rabbit food, but I think it is okay.

Protein
So, I have been eating between 1500-1800 calories per day, but I am noticing that I eat a ton of carbs and very little protein. Can anyone suggest some high protein foods that are not also high in fat?

Weight Training Programs
I can leg press 310lbs. I Row 55lbs. I could not bench to save my life though. I need to work on that. Needless to say my lower body is much stronger than my upper body. I actually use more free weights to exercise. Like today was my Ab Routine Day so I did Pull Ups, Planks, Tilts, Bicycles, Crunches, and Touch Floors.
