I am a 24 year old female originally from Texas, now residing in Arizona. I have been a little round for most of my life and spent most of 2006-2007 working out and getting into shape. After moving to Arizona, I lost some of the drive I once had to eat healthy and go to the gym. I am now dedicated to losing the 15 pounds I gained throughout this last year, plus an additional ten, so that I can feel more confident not only in my appearance, but my health as well. I am looking for all the support I can get my hands on.

exercise calendar
Hi eyeoreski

I just joined yesterday and had to really kind of play around with the site to know what I was doing.

Once you click on the page to add exercise, you should see the default activities as being resting and sleeping. At the very bottom, you should see the add exercise link. If you click there, you should see three drop down boxes, the first being the activity you performed. Some of them will have a rate already dedicated to the activity (such as running, it has a mph beside it.) Select the correct activity and then adjust the time spent doing that particular activity using the second drop down box.

The tricky part is the last part where you have to tell it to reduce/increase the time from somewhere else. Since the default activities are either sleeping or resting, you want to take an hour from resting and dedicate it to the activity, so in the third drop down box, highlight resting, then click add.

I hope this helps you and if you need anything else, though I am new, let me know. I'm playing around with this site to learn how to do everything. It has been REALLY helpful tough.

I want to eat everything in sight...
It's only been three days but I must say that this is harder than I anticipated. Eating portioned meals has never been a strong point for me as I have always had a large appetite. Can anyone offer some advice on what I can do to keep my hunger at bay between meals? I am eating every three hours with snacks in between meals to keep my metabolism going, but my stomach is just so used to eating large helpings...I feel like a failure! lol
