i totally used to be a binge eater and when it cost me 15 lbs then i realized i had to stop. so now i'm starting all over, but it really is about appreciating ur body the way it is, no matter what ur size. .

my name is Eva and i'm 21.
I STOPPED DIETING AND LOST 10 LBS! it took me a really long time to stop associating food with emotions. like a year actually. so it might of taken me a long time to change my ways but once i did change them, it took me so much faster to lose the weight. don't get me wrong, i did exercise but what u eat has just as much of an effect. and yes i'm speaking from experience. so i'm not here to brag about what kind of food u should eat, for that i say, go learn about nutrition and go educate yourself (believe me u will be amazed about what's out there) i'm here on a motivational level for anyone that needs a lil push or an ear for listening.

Run/Walk/Run or Run? Most Effective??
walking 7 min and running 3 min. for an hour. that's what i do. and don't feel tired but i sweat like crazy! so i would def. recommend interval training that is alternating between running and walking.
ps: don't forget to warm up for about 20min though

Oprah And Kirstie Alley
Kirstie Alley is living proof that DIETS DON'T WORK LONGTERM. ok even though u could argue that for her it was a life-style change thing. but c'mon it's still Jenny Craig, which has chemically alternating foods, not the natural good stuff that u should be feeding ur body. the point is, she got off it and gained more than she started; a classic case scenario of anybody that goes on a diet and gets off it. so people whatever it is you're doing right now; ask yourself; could i do this same exact thing for the rest of my life? if your answer is no, then be prepared to gain it all back plus a few extra.
and yes i'm speaking from experience.

Low Metabolism?!!??!
1000 cals a day is undereating; which means ur body will hold on to the fat thus making your metabolism slow down. but 500 cals is WAY too lil to eat per day, and if u r losing weight, chances r it's water and muscle.
best bet for u is to eat 1200 to 1500 cals a day. and work out 5 days a week for an hour. but u must sweat!

make sure your fiber intake is at least 25 grams per day; that way u'll feel full. good sources of fiber are fruit (veggies too but fruit are a lot easier to eat lol)
