There goes the water weight already. Thank goodness I get to shed something though. In a few weeks we will be getting to the fat shedding.

Atkins and me are old friends it is the ONLY diet that has ever worked for me. I just tend to eventually get greedy and want my sweets back. I of course think to myself "Hey you can have the best of both worlds" but then I let the metabolic bully back into my life and he gets greedy too and it all spirals out of control again. No more sweets no more of the things I am not supposed to eat. I can do this. I can.

Ok so I tried my own thing. It didn't work obviously. I lack the self control and discipline to avoid sugars and starches. I gotta work it from the ground up and rewire myself starting with kicking that sugar addiction. Atkins here we go again you are the only one to ever keep me on track for ANY length of time. Induction ughhhhhhhhhh I do dread the lack of variety but I know know know it is best for me. Clean induction even more so. No sugary tastes, no diet soda's, no artificial sugar's no fake desserts no nothing. We gotta a lot to do in a little time but we can do it. We can do it.

Well I have not eaten on Atkins for a long time now and yet I am still losing weight. I lost through the holidays too. I am just eating when hungry and stopping when I feel satisfied. I am targeting the emotional reasons why I eat the way I eat and battling my habits more than worrying over my food choices. I find when I am not emotionally attached to what I am eating I eat far less and am less inclined to over indulge.I also have a much better understanding of how foods are processed in my body as well as how foods affect me personally. I have my demons though and at times stress still gets the better of me. But I am still losing weight and rather impressively. I don't weigh right now I just measure by the feel and fit of my clothes. I have since October slipped from a 26/28 to a 24/26 then down to a 22/24 and now am fixing to drop into a 22/20. This is January right? Not bad I would say as far as dropping sizes. I can feel the fat melting away too so yayy!! Though the further I go the more natural I wanna go and improve my diet for my health. Right now I am still making some bad food choices but I am learning and tweaking and my body really lets me know when I should be indulging less so that helps too.
