How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Daily. I'm fortunate in that I am not subject to the emotional whims of the scale and minor fluctuations. Weighing daily allows me to see where the trend is moving. Even though I am monitoring and sticking to my health plan, when I eat can affect me almost as much as what I eat. So by checking in every morning I can get a pulse on what side of the fluctuation I am on and make sure to plan accordingly for the day.

I wouldn't recommend daily if you might get depressed at it, but if your looking at it from an analytical standpoint, it's not bad at all. Plus positive reinforcement of seeing what you know should be working actually working is always nice.
