I will be a senior in high school next fall (almost done with junior year... 6 days!), am on the speech team, in key club, NHS, and have a job at Starbucks. I am a budding photographer... or at least want to be, so for more the one reason am on the other side of the lens.

Obviously dieting in high school has it's challenges...
I have been over weight most of my life and been on and off diets since my pre-teens. I have PCOS and am insulin resistant and so it's time for a change. I have reached rock-bottom. I can't stand to look at myself in the mirror. I've been on Weight Watchers before, but this time I think I have the determination I never had before. My diet is for life and I plan on keeping it that way.

weight watchers e tools
I LOVE the etools!!!!!! It is THE reason I stay on track. It's so easy to keep track of everything and so easy to search for foods in the tracker. In my opinion it's not a waste of money at all!

Double Diet (for you and your pooch)
My english springer spaniel has gotten a little "tubby" lately and so when I decided to start weight watchers, I looked at her and said that she and I were going to lose weight together. I try to take a walk every night with her and it's great motivation to know that I'm prolonging both of our lives. My family gets a kick out of seeing us when we get back and collapse on the sofa together too! Very Happy She's the best type of diet buddy too because she loves you no matter what size you are!

What does your DIET shopping list look like?
Start on the edges of the grocery store. That's were you will find fruits, veggies, dairy, and meat (and some lo cal ice cream Laughing ) Then work your way in to pick up anything else (whole grain pasta & bread, sugar free jello, diet soda, etc)

WEIGHT WATCHERS VS. SOUTH BEACH? PLEASE HELP!
Weight Watchers (core) and South Beach are very similar-- my plan is to do Weight Watchers until I get to my desired weight and them switch to South Beach for maintaining. I don't think I could constantly count points. Ick.
