I've been married since 1996, have four kids and I spend 40-45 hours in a cubicle every week. My weight has remained between 215 and 235 for years. I've not ever been very sucessful at true weight loss because 1) I've not really ever devoted a lot of time and energy into eating right and 2) I have a difficult time staying focused on getting healthier, so for me to go more than 3 months with an exercise program has been fairly unsuccessful.
I am 5'9" and have a large frame build, so I assume now that if I was to drop to 180 I would be pretty close to my ideal weight. Now I've started working out and making every effort to eat healthy, counting calories, taking supplements, my RDI 2,600 calories / day. I've also started running three days a week and will be doing intense strength training three days a week as well, resting on Sunday. My wife has also joined in, which is additional support and motivation.
