I am 49 years old & have finally after decades of dieting realize its not about dieting but rather about putting healthy healing foods into my body.
In March of 2013 I was diagnosed with Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. I was told to loose 42 pounds. Through research of my own I changed the way I ate, quit alcohol except for 3 drinks seperately in the last 18 months & began exercising on a regular basis. I've lost 37 pounds & feel so healthy. My liver shows it has completely healed.
Since then through more research I now eat foods that are healthy for my liver & pancreas. So here I continue:)

switching from Atkins to WW
I have made the same descision you have. Although I am so thankful that Atkins taught me how to understand how food works in my body and what healthy carbs are, I wanted to go back to WW because I wanted to be able to incorporate what Atkins taught me and also have the allowance to experience all foods in moderation and accountability while still loosing weight.
I am on my second weigh in today, and I didn't loose any weight, but like one of the other buddies posted to you, I also believe my body will have to adjust to coming out of ketosis. I still limit my carbs most of the time, but if I want a sandwich in a pita pocket that is low carb, it is nice to know I can have it. The new WW plan is protien friendly and raised the points on starchy foods while making vegetables (except peas corn potatoes) 0 points and fruits 0 points. They have finally started treating food like we believe so it is nice. Good luck with whichever path you take.

Confession Time...what's your secret?!?!?!?
My legs used to be my secret weapon. Now they are always in hidingSad I want my legs to not rub together, and to be able to wear a dress that comes above my knees again!
I also want my back fat gone!
I want to be able to wear a tank top in the summer without needing to hide my arms in a second cover up shirt.
