Start Weight

Current Weight
240.6 lb
Performance: gaining 0.2 lb a week

Goal Weight
145.0 lb
Still to go: 95.6 lb
I am starting again today after so much failure. I was down to a size 10 and ran a marathon in Feb 2011, then everything went to pot. I had major back problems, had to stop exercising, then had a cage put in my back and gained 73 since April 2011. Now I have to do this all again and I am sick to death of starting over. Even though I gained 73 lbs, I want to lose 103 lbs. Even though I ran all the time, I never ate correctly and couldn't get off that last 30 lbs. Before losing down to a size 10 and running a marathon, I weighed 255 lbs. I lost to 170 lbs, but never could get the last 30 lbs off. Now I want to lose the whole thing. I started today February 4, 2013 and I don't want to stop until I reach my goal of 140 lbs.

Weekends
I am struggling on the weekends. I stay on my diet very well during the week and then the weekend comes and I crash! I don't know what to do to stay on my diet during the weekends. I work Monday through Friday during the day. I am busy all through the week. But when rest time comes, I eat. Yuck! Any suggestions out there?Embarassed

Back Surgery
I haven't been on here in quite a while because I had to stop exercising was extremely frustrated. I was, and still am, having extreme back problems. I found out today I will have surgery on my lumbar spine (L5) to put in a cage to give me disc space. Right now I am bone on bone and am in extreme pain. I ran a marathon this past February and now have been told I can never run again. My surgery will not be for another month, so there will be no exercise until six weeks after the surgery. I figured for now, I will try and log my calories to keep me somewhat on track eating wise. Very discouraged right now! Crying or Very sad
