I have been weining (sp?) myself off of phase 1 a few days early, but i'm still losing. Yesterday I had a sandwich with whole grain bread, and today I don't think I had any carbs, except for one french fry...oops. I am really not craving things I used to... it's crazy, b/c i was very addicted to sweets! especially chocolate, but now I don't really feel like I need to eat as much as I used to...it's somewhat unexplainable, but I hope it stays this way! I felt a big increase in energy level when I started this diet but for the past 5 days I have felt very fatigued in the afternoons, I'm not sure if it's diet related, or something else. Anyone else experience this?? It happened before i started phase 2. So...I know it's not from adding a few carbs. HOpe you are all doing well, and thanks again for the continued encouragement!

Thanks for all the recipes; I have been having a blast trying them all out! I love to cook, and bake, so this diet is working b/c there is so much to do with the foods you can eat!! I started Monday, and I weighed yesterday and have lost about 4.5 lbs already!! Thanks to all of your support and great ideas! I am not weighing in (officially) ha!.. until monday though, so i have to be good for the weekend, I don't want to slack just b/c i recorded a good weight, I want to still have that weight or less to record on Monday! So anyway....thanks so much everyone! You guys are really strong people...and it's encouraging to hear each of you win your battles! Have a great week everyone!

Day 2, and the sweets cravings are not bugging me at all...since i added my homemade applesauce in the plan...i do not add sugar, and i know it's not on phase one, but i felt like i was going to die with no sugar, so i guess i'm counting as my "treat." I feel much better over all though!! no lack of energy, and i feel like it's really not that bad! Everyone on here is so motivating! thanks everyone!!
