27 year old yo-yo dieter. After a recent divorce and summer spent traveling, started gaining weight. I was about 175 this time last year but ballooned to 190. I am hoping to lose the weight I gained plus some more. I am Latina so I'm not looking to be too thin. I like my curves, just want them to be smaller and less jiggly. I started phase 1 of the fat flush diet on 2/18/08. So far, it has been easy to follow. I will know how well I did tomorrow for my weigh in. Can't say I don't miss candy, coffee and bread but its only a minor sacrifice for personal happiness.

Starting Fat Smash tomorrow...need advice
Well if you have Spanish section in your supermarket, I highly recommend the Goya beans that come already seasoned. Also, instant brown rice is great. there are now single servings of brown rice, which are great for quick eating.

Binged Yesterday
Mind you, weekends are always tough for all dieters. But I did well on Sat. Ate within the guidelines for phase 2. Yesterday, however, was not a good day. I went out with some girlfriends and they wer eating their non FS friendly food. I did not partake but when I got home I ate some candy, cookies, bread and cheese,in that order. although i am dissappointed in myself, I am not going to wallow in self-pity. Today is a new day and I'm doing phase 1 to counter any damage I did yesterday. Mad

My obsession....Banana Pancakes for Phase 1
I'm not sure if the recipe below is found somewhere on the site. I don't remember where I saw the recipe but eating the pancakes brings me joy and I look forward to eating them. Anyone who tries the recipe, let me know what you think.

2-4 egg whites
1 banana
1/3 c of oatmeal
1 packet of splenda

mix batter together and use non fat cooking spray so the pankcakes don't stick to pan.
