How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I've had to stick to once a week. I find that little fluctuations--even when totally sticking to my plan do a head number on me--get discouraged and feel like eating!!

getting thru the discouraging times
Have to say, I suffer from instant gratification syndrome(IGS) and it gets me every time with diet and exercise. I'm a smart woman and I know this takes time and lifestyle changes. But yesterday I was 4 days into really sticking to a, "jumpstart" diet for beginning motivation and exercise and the SCALE WAS NOT BUDGING. I had to remind myself to stick to it and not "fk it" eat although I really wanted to. Suddenly today I'm 2 pounds down. I have to remember to be patient--also I've decided to stop weighing myself more than once a week--it's disaster for me...those minor fluctuations up and down are normal...but they really do a head trip on me!!!!!!
