Don't complain about things you are not willing to change.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

39 years old, living in Pennsylvania USA. I am a mother of TWO (BOY & GIRL); looking to expand my wardrobe... with my own closet of clothes. I need to be able to keep up with my kids, 8 & 3!!!

Starting over... Again.

ONWARD & UPWARD!

Keto eating
I've been keto/LCHF since August 2017. I am down 40lbs (with several "off the wagon" moments. I very much love this way of eating! I use a forum www.ketogenicforums.com. It is an amazing fountain of information and they have a lot of help for people who are managing type 2 diabetes. Good Luck!

ONE KETO FLU OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST
It's less to do with butter, bacon and lard and more about going through Carb withdraw. Just like you can be addicted to cocaine, cigarettes, caffeine, alcohol. After years your body becomes used to (used to = addicted) consuming carbs and sugar. There are plenty of studies about how sugar/carbs stimulate the pleasure centers of your brain.

From a recent website I was reading:

"BTW the “keto flu” label is a bit of a misnomer, it’s more like carbohydrate withdrawal symptoms from altered hormonal states and the electrolyte imbalances that come with it." http://ketogeniclifestyle.com/keto-flu-symptoms-mitigation-and-getting-over-excess-carbohydrates/

Do you hate vegetables as much as I hate vegetables?
Might try a new method of preparing them. I didn't cooked veggies for most of my life. Then I discovered you don't have to eat them out of a can or cooked to death. Try new recipes. Also, you can make yourself like them if you try small bites often. You should try something about 10x before you decide you don't like it. There are actually studies about it.
