I never had to count calories, EVER! but most recently I woke up and I was 30, had a desk job, and sports were an inconvenience... my weight jumped 20 pounds in the blink of an eye. So now, I'm trying to re-gain control over my body. I watch what I eat and I'm increasing my activities in any way i can. I take the stairs, I park far away... The dog has been an amazing excuse to get a 3 mile walk done every day, he loves it and i feel great. I don't think I can go back to the athlete (150oz) body I had on my twenties, simply because I don't have the time to practice sports, but I'll be happy with a weight that allows me to run 6 miles without feeling like I'm dragging dead weight.
