Weight Watchers
I have been "attending" WW virtually & like it almost better than in-person. Last night they discussed mindfulness. They now have a special meeting just for those who are at goal, which I still am although I am reallly struggling to stay there during this time, being near food all the time.

Dr. Greger's book How Not to Diet & online video EVIDENCE BASED WEIGHT LOSS
Just been watching his presentation online: EVIDENCE BASED WEIGHT LOSS. He has some great points about how to fill up without filling out! Add lotsa veggies, and eat them first!Gonna try this this week.

Cook Book Creations
I love veggies, and am plant-based and love to cook. I just made some wonderful cauliflower tacos that were so easy & sooo tasty. I used 16 oz frozen riced cauliflower from Costco (comes in a bag of 4- 1# bags), a 10 oz bag of frozen mushrooms. Sauteed the mushrooms first (no oil) when almost done, added the cauliflower. Saute a few more minutes. Add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, 2 T low sodium soy sauce, 2 T chili powder, 2 tsp cumin, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp (or more!) garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper. Toss together & serve on a corn tortilla or a fresh leaf of lettuce or kale. ***If need to lose more weight, eliminate the walnuts. You can find a baked version of this on Brand New Vegan.com but mine is easier, I think.

What has been your experience with Intermittent Fasting
I did it until got to goal, did the 6:1. Found I was not hungry on fasting day, like my brain knew I would not starve! What helped most for me was not eating after 3 or 4pm. It is like whatever you eat at night you will be weighing next a.m. So I do still following that part, all foods done by 5pm at lastest. This plus the WFPB keeps me below WW goal, below my intermediate goal, now almost back to my ultimate goal! Definitely research continues to show it is good for your health. Also, good to allow your body to feel hunger, to me to feel the pain that many in the world feel everyday.
