I am 34 yr old woman. I have an almost 7 yr old daughter and am married. I am on the go non-stop between work-life and home-life. I used to be very active and fit and got lazy (lots of reasons, some legitimate, some not). I refuse to continue live in "I used to...". So, now is the time! I'm certainly not getting any younger and extra weight will make life more difficult the older I get. I need to be healthy to be able to live life to the fullest. If I want to do a bike race, I want to be physically capable of doing so. No more "I can't" for me!
My diet is special k (whichever variety) for breakfast and sometimes lunch, dry or with skim milk. It's easy and keeps me on track. Dinner is open as long as it's reasonable. I have cut out almost all treats. I love fruit but bananas are the easiest. I usually consume 1100-1350 calories and no more than 50 grams of fat. I have lost 13 pounds since starting fatsecret 6 weeks ago. I love the app on my droid it makes staying on track so much easier. I look food up before I eat it.
