I am a 58 year old female, married for 38 years with one grown daughter. I work at our local Post Office as a Window Clerk. I live on a farm like property with my Mom (now deceased) Hubby, 2 cats, 5 dogs, 1 calf, and a pony. One of my hobbies is baking bread and I am on the LCHF that has no place for bread. This will make my neighbors happy, more bread for them. Hubby still eats it and since I control what goes into it, my bread is much healthier and filling than store bought bread, cheaper too!! I live a quiet life in rural Georgia, we are far away from traffic, crime and gyms so my fitness work is going to have to be DIY! I'm ready to get rid of this extra weight, hang with me it's going to be a bumpy ride!! UPDATED 6/19/23

I am now down 50 lbs and the past 10 months that I have not been a daily visitor to FS have been rough. Going to make a serious effort to return to daily tracking and using the great support here to reach my goal.

I came back in March 2016 and I am now down 100 lbs, still have 25 to go to reach my goal where I will pause and reflect and then decide whether to start maintenance or continue on down to 160 only time will tell.

06/26/16 1 Goal reached, I rode my horse for the first time in 7 years today, we were both rusty but it felt really great to be back in the saddle again!

6/19/23 I had a rough few years, lost my mom, my horse, a dog, two cats, went blind in my right eye for a year and a half, Hubby had a total knee replacement and a back surgery, lots of tears, lots of stress. I had eye surgery on May 10th and I can see, stress down and now focusing on the other parts of my life that need attention.

My diet has too much fat in it
Hey guys! I see ya'll are recently joined, the best tips you will get is keeping an eye on the Social media feed, click on the profile of the people who have the results you are looking for and check out what they are eating or not eating. It's what I do Smile Good Luck!

How did I lose weight, but look fatter?
Ummmm, gravity I'm afraid. As we age gravity pulls EVERYTHING down. So if you had belly weight before and have lost that weight, what ever tiny bit of fat remains in the skin of your tummy drops down. It simply moves. If you find what makes that go away, please share it!

tech help
(Desktop mode) click on the individual food in your diary, it opens up a nutrition label to the right is a box that has which meal, what quantity and an add or delete button, click delete, it goes away. The Mobile App, Hit the down arrow on the right below the meal (bfast, lunch or dinner) expand the menu, then go to the food and touch the tiny arrow to the right, it opens up the same type of label with a delete or add button below it.
