Even with reduced diet and exercise compliance, I'm still maintaining a slow reduction in weight and size. Noticable in how my clothes fit and increased mobility.

Still losing...slowly...feeling more toned and clothes fit better. Tried the cycling class for the first time, already feeling the muscles burn in ways they haven't before. I'll give it a couple more times, but I definitely need a pair of bike shorts with the padding to sit on that narrow seat! Cancelled a metabolic test, just not the right time for me. Will continue refining my new nutritional and exercise plan to be my new "normal"...not just a short-time thing.

First time I've seen the 250's in many years, yeah! My year-end goal of getting under 200 pounds is still possible, but more likely 1-2 pounds a week would be closer to the 220's or even the teens. More importantly is to maintain consistent loss, even if that is in the low-single digits per month.

It's been awhile since I officially weighed in here on FatSecret, but I've finally seen a drop in pounds. I've been noticing other changes in my body as I've been consistently doing cardio...better fitting clothes and skin/muscle tone, in particular. I have a long-term goal of getting below the cut-off for obesity (23.8%), which translates to 175, or about 85 more pounds. Ideally, I'd like to get down to my adult low weight of 146, but 158 would be a "happy medium". This weekend I have an appointment with a physical trainer to get some helpful hints about adding some weight training into my weekly routine. Low carb doesn't seem to be sustainable for me, so I'm switching to the Zone (40-30-30)...updates to follow!

It's been difficult to continue recording in my food journal, although I feel I'm now able to keep my calories within a reasonable range. Continuing to search for high-quality, low-fat protein sources while restricting carbs; found a couple tuna pouches at Trader Joe's...tasty and quick alternative to eating out lunch.
