Lost 6lbs after my first 3 days on the 24 Day Challenge (Reposting w/smaller img sorry)
My best friend and I both currently doing the Advocare 24 Day Challenge for the second time. We started this passed Monday. I was totally unprepared, which I think is comical because I coach people all the time on the 24 Day Challenge. You would think that I would have everything in order by now. Well the only thing I had ready for Phase 1 - The Cleanse was my Advocare Product. I had went camping with my family over the weekend and didn't go grocery shopping.
So Monday morning came and it was an early morning too due to it being my oldest son's first day of summer school. This is what my first day looked like. I took my Pink Lemonade Spark and my catalyst when I first got up in the morning. I drank my fiber drink and had oatmeal for breakfast. For a mid-morning snack I had a handful of raw almonds. I was out and about for lunch so I stopped at Dairy Queen and got a grill chicken salad with no cheese and no dressing. For an afternoon snack I had mixed fruit and veggies. I ended up visiting family that evening so I made good choices more fruit and veggies. There were lost of temptations, but I stayed strong. Dinner consisted of grilled chicken and green beans and I took my omega-plex with it. Felt full so no need for a night snack. Right before bed I took my herbal pills and catalyst.
Tuesday, Day 2, again was an early morning due to summer school. I was dragging getting out of bed. Then I took my Pink Lemonade Spark and my catalyst and I was feel so much better. I had the energy and clarity I needed to get through my morning. I tend to have oatmeal every morning so that was what I had for breakfast along with my fiber drink. Then it was off to the grocery store to get stuff for my cleanse. lol Did not quite fit it in on Monday so at least I am finally got there. My grocery list consisted of lots of fruits, veggies, nuts, chicken, fish, turkey burgers, and then of course all the goodies for the rest of the family that I will not be consuming. So once the groceries were put away I made a turkey burger. So Yummy it had green peppers in it too. It eat it plain remember NO BREAD. For an afternoon snack I had some nuts. Dinner I had a grilled chicken salad w/ tomatoes and add two tablespoons of salsa for dressing. It just hit the spot. Of course I took my omega-plex too with dinner. For a late night snack I had a plum. So sweet and tasty. Then at bedtime I took my cataylst. I actually forgot to take my herbal pills I took them as soon as I got up in the morning.
Wednesday, Day 3, another early morning, but I have realize I got up without feeling tired. I took my Pink Lemonade Spark and my catalyst, along with my herbal pills I forgot to take the night before. Had my breakfast of choice Oatmeal with my fiber drink. You would think I would be tired of Oatmeal for breakfast, but hasn't happened yet. I have never been a big breakfast person so I have found that it is easy and I just tell myself it is going to jump start my metabolism for the day. Seem to work. :0) I fit a 20 minute Cardio workout in during the morning. For a mid-morning snack I had sliced apples. I had a day full of school work so the Spark really helped me keep mentally focused and energized. Lunch came around and I had a grilled chicken salad with three pepper salad. It was so good. Love this salsa. After lunch needed to get out so I took the kids to be beach. I had nuts for an afternoon snack while at the beach. A seal pup had washed up to shore so it was an interesting afternoon. Dinner I had grilled fish and a salad with my omega-plex. Oh and it was a double spark kind of day so I had a second spark in the afternoon. No snack needed was full from dinner. At bedtime I took my herbal pills and catalyst.
So that is what happened in my first three days of my 24 Day Challenge. On day four today. Will give an update in a couple days. So far I have lost 6 lbs and am feeling great. Can't wait to see how things go in the next couple days. :0)
