Quit smoking about 1 1/2 years ago and as direct result gained 12kg. All tummy it seems. Age 74 so not doing to much exercise except odd walk up/back to store about 1 km total. Uphill going so bit of huff/puff journey,
Tried the low carb diet but no to successful obviously as after 19 weeks no weight loss (or gain thankgodness). Now doing healthy ? foods like veg and fruit and avoiding processed foods expecially. I avoid sugary drinks and only drink tea wo sugar and throw in the odd beer for peace of mind. I have no health issues only my clothes do not fit and I refuse to buy large size.
