Married from NYS now living in Georgia. Retired. Like working with graphics, used to make all my own clothes when I worked, also did machine embroidery for a hobby for a while. Use Paint Shop Pro & Photoshop to make graphics or do tutorials. Right now 1 dog, had 8 that passed away. About 7 feral cats we feed, plus feeding the birds, & squirrels, so you can say I am a animal lover.

Changing a recipe in cookbook
I went online and corrected a mistake in my recipe with an ingredient and the servings. It is corrected on line but won't show up in my app. Do I have to delete the recipe and redo it again? If so, it should have to be done. Can't figure out why the app only recognizes the recipe without the corrections.

Losing Weight & Not Tryng To!
Thanks for your input. Am going to up the calories. I do enjoy going to the Y every day as I am retired. I don't drink or smoke. Gave up smoking 5 years ago and only occasionally have a drink. I don't like overly sweet items, and don't have dessert hardly at all. Once in a while. I bake my own bread but have one piece a day and pasta a small amount. I eat the amount listed for a serving. I hope I can turn this around and hope nothing is wrong with me. My new doctor, I don't know why he didn't do more blood work when he saw my protein and globulin was down, plus he lowered my thyroid meds which didn't show that it was high. Appreciate all responses. Oh, I also make my own protein bars, but they don't seem to be doing anything, so bought some too.

Losing Weight & Not Tryng To!
I don't drink. Used to years ago. The doctor I have now is a new one, as my old one had to stop his private practice. I'll up my calories and see what happens. Thanks for replying. I don't use regular sugar as my husband is diabetic. I don't eat sweets hardly at all. Cut back coffee to two cups a day, and went from lactaid whole milk to unsweetened almond milk, as the doctor told me not to drink milk. I was 173 last August when I joined the Y, went 6 days a week, 2 hrs. a day. When I hit my goal, and kept losing weight, cut back to 5 days a week and 1 hr. a day. I never was a big eater but never weighed my food until I started to go to the Y! But, I also wasn't exercising and gained a lot of weight. This is so frustrating. I was always thin until I started gaining when thyroid went bad, now I'm too skinny for my age and look awful since I hav no muscle mass now at all.

See another doctor and then a 3rd. It could possibly be a kidney issue or some bone marrow condition. Do you drink, even a little? Stop that until things are worked out. So too with cigarettes. Cut back dramatically on sugars and carbs - which can effect the liver and how it works with proteins as well.

You can consume a "normal" rate of calories, don't need to increase, especially bad calories. Weight training (resistance) will give you strength to lift more heavier weights - after a while with lifting heavy weights, you will gain muscle mass and the numbers on the scale can increase.
