Has anyone tried the 5+2 diet?
I saw this on a recent TV program, Horizon and wondered how successful it REALLY is?

It involves two fasting days back to back (600cal max) and then five days eating normally, but still healthy around the 2000 women / 2500 men RDI.

Was thinking of giving it a whirl thats all, please reply with whatever negative or positive feedback you may have.

Mealtime Drinking Habits
I was told by a dietician who works within the private sector that the drinks we take with our meals can have a big impact on our eating habits and our appetite. The trick is to take a drink at least 10 minutes before a meal, and then nothing else to drink until 30 minutes afterwards. This helps the stomach retain food long enough to take all the vitamins and nutrients our bodies need. Rather than is all be washed away with an accompanying beverage, and making us feel hungry again sooner. Just feeling fuller for longer, sounds simple I know, but I am told it works, and if I am spouting old news, I apologise.
