So I was in the ER Wednesday night. I had severe constipation and am still working on it. I am not eating dairy until I am unconstipated. Am trying to eat fiber, with caution since I do not want to over-FODMAP myself, as that will only aggravate things.
I am using Gavilyte-C to try to get things moving. The hospital prescribed it for me and my GI doc is advising on how much to use.
The only thing I know works is saline magnesium citrate. It is finally available in stores near me again. When I use my benefits, i pay 4.75 a bottle. At Stop and Shop it is 1.19 per bottle, much more reasonable.
I am still having a headache and am not completely emptied out. I will need patience from the challenge people until I feel better. Then I will get back on it.

My protein goal is going to be 47 g a day on this challenge. I am going to be trying a low glutamate diet to see if my nervous system problems are helped by it. I am still bloated and constipated from earlier, so not posting my weight accordingly. I am unhappy with the weight gain from the IBS and it's requisite bloating and constipation. Don't expect to see what I really weigh until my IBS stops flaring.

My IBS has been flaring badly the last few weeks, so although FS is demanding I weigh in, I will not. My thyroid level was good. I am in pain right now and very bloated. I am trying to take care of it. I have changed my intake so to attempt to lose some of the excess weight. Th BIA scale is saying some of my weight gain is fat, but I know at least some of it is water retention from the IBS.
