I'm the mom of 2 under 2 which is amazing since we had a lot of fertility issues! Now I need to get my body back in shape. I'm 40 and 5'10. I don't look terribly overweight because of my height, but I sure know it from my clothes. I've been living in workout pants and oversized t-shirts and maternity clothes since giving birth in July. It's so frustrating when I get dressed to go out. I only have a few outfits I feel comfortable wearing, and I refuse to invest in new ones until I've lost some of this weight. I love clothes, so I'm finally motivated to drop those pounds. I'd like to lose about 40 lbs. Hmmm one pound for each year of my age ; 0.

Weight Loss after Pregnancy?
I gave birth 8 months ago when my first child was 19 mos. old. So 2 pregnancies within 19 mos. I'm still about 35 pounds over my ideal weight. I tell myself everyday I'm going to make the commitment to lose the weight, but somehow I let my schedule and my little ones interfere. Today, I walked 3.25 miles in about 50 minutes. I've watched my calorie intake and have had about 34 oz. of water so far. Now I need to find the motivation to continue, and not give in to the mindless snacking and putting off exercising like I should. Anyone else trying to shed baby pounds. I haven't lost any weight since January, and I really want to be able to walk into my closet and be excited about putting on an outfit rather than just finding something that will fit. Ugh! I want to wear shorts and sleeveless tops this summer. Any helpful advice? I just can't stay motivated Sad
