I am a lover of life. The year of 2000 I weighed in at 325 lbs. I was actually dying of chronic sleep apnea (143 apneas per hour) and the body was tired, and shutting down. Gastric bypass saved my life, and in the years that followed I lost almost 150 lbs, down from a size 26 to a size 6 (American sizes). I have learned how my body works, and learned how to cheat on food intake and not be sick. Maintained my weight for several years, and slowly added a little weight as I aged. I didn't get a handle on it in the beginning, and once breast cancer hit (TNBC-Triple Negative), I gained even more. Now I am trying to get it all off naturally, so I can feel healthy, be healthy and enjoy living life. I am 18 months out of chemo and radiation, so still have a low energy level, but life is good. I am somewhat frustrated with weight loss, it now goes so slowly. Atkins lifestyle has always been good for me, but now it isn't coming off so easy. I need support to keep on. Hopefully this funky low-energy level will go away, soon ...
