I am a 62 years young, a retired wife, mother and grandmother. I enjoy vacations, especially going to Jamaica. My weight issues got out of control about 14 years ago. With the stress of my job I started gaining weight. I retired a little over 2 years ago and I have decided to get this monkey off my back once and for all. After years of Weight Watches with little success I started Jenny Craig in October. I was at a point I no longer knew what a portion size was. JC makes that easy for me and I am using it as a tool to relearn. On WW it seemed all I did was think about food. JC makes that easier for me. My loss is slow but it has been steady. Since starting this plan, I have been through vacations and did not gain, holidays and did not gain, and the loss of 2 of my darling pets. I stick to the plan as much as possible but I do go out for dinner with my husband. I have eaten holiday dinners. And I am still having a life. This needs to fit into my life. So far it has very well. If the losses are slow and it takes me a long time to do this that is OK. I didn't get here overnight and it is unhealthy and unreasonable to think I can get through this in a snap. I am feeling better, doing much more and I am pleased and proud of my progress.
