I am a 42 year old mother of three sons and one daughter-in-law. I have an extremely supportive and loving husband who has always accepted me just as I am. This is wonderful in so many ways but I think it has also caused me to be lazy and unmotitivated at times. I work full-time and find it diffult sometimes to make time for "me". But now with son #2 now heading off for college, I think it should become easier to take the time necessary to finally, once and for all get this weight issue undercontrol (at least I am hoping :) I am also a christian who believes that with God's help I can do this!! A great quote I recently read is this: "We are in danger of forgetting that we cannot do what God does, and that God WILL NOT DO WHAT WE CAN DO!!" I think this is so try, sometimes we cry out to God, why oh why, when we should be just getting our butt's moving :) So I am going to try to do just that.

Starting Again!
Hi All!

I am just getting started again on both my health journey and this website! I have gained 14 pounds since my last weigh in here. No good, I know! Kinda scary as I am also a year older. I am trying to get back onto my weight watchers diet. Can anyone tell me where I figure out how many points I should be eating? Also does this website keep track of points vs activity points? I'm a little confused. Thanks for the help!

Looking for a ww buddy
Hi Tammy,
I have just joined this site and would love a buddy to help encourage and support. I too, am a born again christian. I am 42 and I have three sons. My eldest is 20 and has been married for one year. My middle son is 18 and has just graduated and will be heading off to bible college in August. My youngest son is 14. I work full time at our church as the Operations Manager. It is very hard to stick to any kind of "diet" when you work full-time. So I am hoping this site will help me keep on track. I need to figure out how to add you as a buddy. Still trying to figure everything out.

Hey Everyone!
Just found this site today. Looks pretty fun. And I really need the support. I am freaking out that we are going into the summer (which is my worst time of year for gaining weight)and my weight almost the highest it has ever been.... yikes!! I need HELP!! I am looking forward to getting to know everyone! Very Happy
