I am 26 years old and ready to get into shape, hopefully for life. I was never out of shape until nursing school. At this time I put on nearly 25lbs and have gradually over the years gained more. I am starting at 198 lbs, the most I've ever weighed. I am getting married october 23 2010 and have bought a wedding dress a size smaller. Using this as a must do incentive, I figure it can me made smaller. Which would be awsome.

Anyway I've dieted before but have never been successful in keeping the weight off. I'm open to any suggestions or just a friend to keep me going.

Just getting started
Was just introduced to this site by a coworker. Hoping this time I'm able to stick with this new lifestyle. Was able to loose 23 lbs for my sisters wedding last year with WW, but have gained every lb back since. I just like to eat I guess. I'm tall and carry my weight well, until bathing suit season when the clothes come off. (or usually don't) Anyway hoping this site works as a suppport system for me. My bf is 6'2" and 165-170 lbs and just doesn't get it, he has never had a weight problem and eats whatever he wants. Anyway, I'm welcome to any suggestions or just to friend to keep me honest.
