I am 34 years old. Single, no kids. I have always been on the heavy side but 3 or 4 years ago my life took a series of bad turns and, as always, I turned to food for comfort. I ballooned up my highest weight ever, which was 313 pounds. I am 5'9 and normally I carry my weight well, which is a blessing and a curse. But at that weight, there was no more hiding. Anyway, I managed to diet/starve myself down to 281.2 over the course of a year, which is what I weighed when I joined this website. I am committed to doing this the healthy way. I am keeping myself on a 1200 calorie a day meal plan, basically using the WW points system. I have been sticking to my plan very well for 3 and a half weeks and have lost 11.5 pounds. I feel fantastic.. I can't wait to get down to my goal weight which is 135. I haven't weighed that since freshman year in high school.
