I am a 17 year old girl who is trying to adapt her lifestyle. Since i was a baby i played elite soccer. Im a tier 1 goalkeeper in the u18 division aswell as team alberta. I have always been pretty muscular and because of that, weighed more. I recently tore my ACL and menicus plates in my knee and Not being able to participate in sports (which is everything to me) for a year, i thought i was going to be depressed. It is 2 and a half months out of the original injury date and due to my surgery a month ago, lost a lot of my muscle mass to fat. Now, by no means am i a big girl. But i am trying to achieve my goal weight on just minimal exercise and eating healthy. this sounds impossible to me but i know its my only option. being limited to the exercises i can do, i will do my best to shed off those extra injury pounds and tone my muscle.
