Please help me.....I don't know what to do!
Thank you both for your advice. I have been to physiotherapy and to physical therapy in the past. I could not tolerate the physical therapy...it just hurt me too much. Physiotherapy was a bit more tolerable but still very painful. I will be going back to see my spine surgeon later in the month and will ask him for suggestions of exercises I should and can do. Any suggestions on how to jump start this weight loss? I have never really dieted...used to walk all the time to lose weight and I lost alot and then continued to walk to maintain. But not being able to "exercise", does anyone have any suggestions on what to do and what to eat to get the most benefits?

Please help me.....I don't know what to do!
I need to lose weight for my health but also for myself. I eat healthy and drink lots and lots of water. But, here's the problem. I have had 4 major back surgeries and have constant pain from my back to my foot (on the left side). I have nerve damage in my left calf and foot. I have drop foot. All a result from the back surgeries. I need someone to help me figure out what kind of exercise I can do that won't hurt me but will help me strengthen my core and lose weight. I have tried walking in our neighborhood but I didn't have much luck with that. It hurt my leg and back so badly that I just couldn't do it, not to mention I am afraid that I may fall. My leg/foot just "gives out" sometimes and I fall. It's very hard and I am very frustrated with trying to come up with some sort of exercise that will help me....not hurt me. Please, help me if you know of anything I may do to help me lose weight and feel better about myself. Thank you all for your help.
