Today was day one of being on the South Beach Diet. So far so good. I ate well, although I forgot about my afternoon snack and dessert. Have to remember to eat those tomorrow. My total sugar intake was about 40g for the day, with 10g from the lite Hershey's syrup I added to my milk, and 4g from my salad dressing.

Not gonna worry about it though. I'm not sure how convert sugar grams into kcals, but since the syrup is only 45 kcals per serving and I'm allotted 75 or less, I think it's probably fine.

I'm not suffering any headaches or signs of carb crash yet, although I expect it to start tomorrow or maybe Wednesday. I would think by then my body will have figured out that it hasn't had any potatoes or pasta or bread or fruit or... since Sunday night.

I did put in 20 minutes of a fast Wii-walk while watching some tv. I'd have preferred to go outside but it's raining so that's not an option. LOL

I'm tired and think I'm going to call it a night. My 5a wake-up call will be here before I know it.
