On June 7th, I got on the scale and I was 163. Yesterday, I got on the scale and I was 166.5. I can't seem to stay in ketosis to save my life and I have to say that now I am becoming a little frustrated. I was watching tv the other day and this famous actor (Terry Crews) stated that he keeps his body in such good shape by intermittent fasting 16/8 (2:00 pm to 10:00 pm). I decided to try it. I fast sometimes by skipping breakfast and having lunch and my remaining meals or I will sometimes do a twenty-four hour fast to detox, but to hop on that scale and see that number made me want to cry. With the wedding coming up and my fitting on Saturday I cry at the drop of a dime. I am an emotional basket case.
I am putting too much pressure on myself, it is ONE freakin day!! My fiancée paid for my dress and I feel horrible that I have not maintained my weight. He could care less, but I am stressed about it. I think I will take a page out of Klynn82 and Chesgreen's book and celebrate my accomplishments and not my failures.

Last night I went to the Olive Garden with my fiancée and I had stuffed mushrooms, soup with sausage, kale and potatoes (which I fished out of the soup), one piece of friend zucchini, fried calamari, grilled salmon and broccoli. I felt bad because I ate so much, but I didn't have a lot of fried food and I didn't eat any sweets. It took me from Monday to Thursday to get into ketosis so I hope I didn't blow it.
I fasted until noon today and for lunch I had two piece of slightly fried fish and salad. No idea what I am going to do about tomorrow at the soccer match, but I think that I will be fasting at least until noon again. Hopefully, I can grab a salad while everyone else is devouring pizza. The weekends are so difficult. I hope that everyone has a prosperous and successful weekend.

I weighed in this morning at 163 on my scale at home. I won't officially change my weight until I weigh in at the program on 6/16/18. I completed my second day of the 100 pushup challenge and I am continuing to run the stairs at work.
This weekend is going to be very difficult. We are going to see the New York City Soccer Club play at Yankee Stadium with friends so we will be eating out and in NY there is a ton of food choices. My fiancée will have his son this weekend and we tend to be busy and eat out a lot when he stays for the weekend. Not to mention the fact that we are going to a concert tonight. GRRR.
My first fitting for my dress was on April 28th and at the time I weighed 159, so I really only need to lose four more pounds by 6/16/18. This can happen, I am focused.

Of course I am upset that I gained so much weight in a week (insert tears here), but I have to lose it by June 16, 2018 for my final dress fitting...GULP! I am using that to get my act together.
536 protein calories a day, less than 20 carbs. I haven't been in ketosis in weeks so I am hoping to get there soon and start burning some fat. Daily workouts, NO SUGAR (my stomach is already going down) and I am running the stairs (up and down twice and quickly )at my job three times a day, four flights. Drinking water with lemon all day long. I am hoping the dress will still fit. Send positive thoughts my way friends, pray for me, light a candle, do whatever but help to agree with me that I can do this!!
