performance: losing 1.5 lb a week
I'm a 39 year old average dude just trying to get into better shape. I enjoy playing tennis, volleyball, softball, racquetball, biking and golf. I tend to injure/re-injure myself in these activities rather frequently due to poor stretching and exercise.
My goal is to consume less calories (and fat/carbs) then I burn in a day and to exercise more. I'm not as concerned about my weight especially since it is difficult to evaluate when you also add muscle. I am however, more concerned with how I look and fit into clothes and most importantly how I feel before, during and after my favorite sports activities.
