active senior in my 70's. Before the pandemic worked as a substitute teacher a couple of days a week and travel as much as I can. Been to 65 countries of the world and still travel even tho I use a walker. Great for sitting down when tired and carrying a suitcase. Also use google translate its a life saver. Grandkids in London and Bangalore, India. Love to eat that's one of the problems. Mostly eat street food though when I travel and I like that. Have been on a Keto diet in the past and really lost weight fast but now I am concentrating on calories, and trying to do low fat, less carbs and fried foods. It is working but slow. In Oct 2021 I had a shoulder replacement and in Dec I took a road trip (alone) along the Calif coastline, visited friends and the day I was to return fell in my friends bathtub, fractured six ribs and was hospitalized for a week and a half. So since Sept I have not gotten the exercise that I usually do, that is exercising in a pool at the aquatic center and my weight and blood sugar has shot up. I am trying to do something about that now. I couldn't go into the water because of my ribs but in the past 2 weeks I had my dr's advice and I am there doing my exercises in the water. I have alot of arthritis and feel it everywhere. I guess its just an age thing but I did move from Maryland to Las Vegas 10 months ago just to be in the dry warm weather and I do miss the heat.
