I've gotten side-tracked by Osteoarthritis for the last few years. However, I've concluded that there will be periods of "flare ups" and I'll just have to deal with them the best way that I know. This usually means not doing things to aggravate the affected joints. I do take supplements which seems to help. However, my active lifestyle (including exercise), is suffering. I've learned that walking is the only thing that I can do consistently. I was lifting hand weights until both of my thumbs lost most of their cartilage and became too painful. I am severely limited in exercising, but am learning to deal with my weight through my diet.
