Before December 2008, I was in the best shape of my life. Competing in Triathlon's and Volleyball Tournaments. I was 33 at the time and though I was at 165, I was a size 8 and strong. Never had an issue with my weight. Hubby and I got married in December of 2008 and over the first three years of marriage, traveling and slowing my level of fitness down, 20 pounds crept up on me. I gotta tell you.... had a great time doing it!! Starting at 185 for my first baby was not ideal, but it was what it was. I started FS in April of 2011 and was able to get down to 185 just in time to get pregnant again. Lost it again in 2013 for pregnancy #2. Just had another little boy in March and started to lose weight in June. All in all, I have lost 30 pounds post partum twice = 60 pounds so I figure since this is our last, I would like to take off that 30 pounds of baby weight and 20 pounds of post marriage weight. I figure it will take about 6-7 months to take off, but I am ready to be a fit Mom to run after my nuggets next summer......maybe even a race or two.
