Current Weight

Performance: losing 0.8 lb a week

Goal Weight
120.0 lb
Still to go: 9.0 lb
I am not currently on a strict diet. I am watching what I eat and keeping track of calories, fats, and sugar content.

I workout 3x/week at the gym and also go in for just cardio another 3x/week. I am attempting to keep close track of my workouts to see how many calories I am burning each time.

I think that keeping close track of both of these things will help me greatly in reaching my goal weight.

Yes, I think you should eliminate juice completly, instead replace it by fresh fruits...For fibers, you can get some dry whole lentils and cook it in slow cooker (make sure to add fresh grated ginger to it for better digestion). Fresh fruits, veggies will also give you the fibers.

Thank you. I am going to start keeping some raw veggies in the fridge at work so I can snack on them at break. I've also been told that it is important to eat more than 3 times per day, and haven't gotten into that habit yet, so maybe this will help me on a couple different things.

I take Psyllium Husk with water at bed time (especially when I am dieting)

Do you use the powder or the pills? I have only looked into it a little bit, so I don't know if there is much difference between them, as far as effectiveness. I work next door to a Whole Foods Market, so I can get the powder there.

Thank You!
There are lots of things I can cook with beans to get more fiber.

I didn't realize the fruit juice has the fiber taken out. I always figured if I had a V8 (2 servings) and apple juice at least once a day each, I was adding 3 full servings of fruit/veggies. I thought it was an easy way to add to what I was already taking in.

take out diet soda, soda, white sugar etc from your diet, drink water, have one or two fresh fruits and include fibers (psyllium husk) for few days in your diet....

I don't drink soda, all I drink is water or juice. What foods are best for fiber. I know my diet is low in fiber, and would like to do better with that.

I don't know much about this particular "diet". So I wanted to see if anyone here has actually used it. I am currently looking it up online, and will invest in the book if it is really worth it.

I say "diet" because it is really intended more for cleansing than losing weight, so I don't like to call it a regular diet and give the wrong impression. I think I could benefit from the cleansing, but I don't know anyone personally who has used it, so I don't know if I should trust the websites or not.

Please help me with any information you have or experiences you've seen.

Thank You.
