Good morning, healthy people!

The Dazzle Dash was great fun. I had found some jingle-bell bracelets and glow in the dark earrings to wear for the run. Lots of my running buddies from the running group were there. There was lots of great food at the end - the vegetable soup was a welcome treat since it was pretty chilly! The run itself was so pretty, running through the lights. I was a little nervous running in the dark but I didn't hit any potholes.

Lee and I had lunch at Cosi yesterday and ran errands together before the run. My force field wasn't working and Lee put a big cherry pie in the basket at M.O.M.s (My Organic Market). He was dishing out the pie last night and I asked for a little piece. He cut 1/4 of the pie for me!! And I ate it!! That was 2 1/2 servings. Grrr. Where is my common sense when I need it.

I have S.O. Bowling this morning, then a Striders run in the afternoon. I need to talk myself into the 5 mile run (instead of the 2 mile) to balance out that pie!

Good morning, healthy people (if I type fast)!

Surprisingly, the scale is down a little from last week. Surprising because the snack monster won't leave me alone! Must be the haircut.

Yesterday, and for a couple days actually, I've been feeling weird. Hormonal? I don't know, but sometimes I feel like I don't fit in my skin or something - it's a creepy crawly feeling, I call it the heebie-jeebies - just can't get comfortable. Sometimes it just makes me wanna holler! Ugh! So what's the best thing to do when you're feeling hormonal? Go clothes shopping! NOT!!!!!

I went to the mall trying to find something to wear to a party next week. I realize I have NO IDEA HOW TO DRESS this body. I knew what to look for in the plus-size sections. I feel so overwhelmed in the not-plus-size sections! I finally tried something on that didn't work and just said 'F* it. Today is not the day to do this.' (yes, I really talk that way, but usually only to myself).

I also went to the library to return some stuff, and tried to relax there looking at a running magazine, but the heebie jeebies wouldn't let me sit still. One might think exercise would be good for getting rid of the heebie-jeebies, but I definitely didn't feel like it.

Anyway, today I'm running in the Dazzle Dash. It's the opening weekend of one of the holiday light shows you drive through - but we're running through it. It's less than 2 miles so should be easy and fun. Tomorrow I have a choice between a 2 mile and a 5 mile run in the afternoon. I haven't decided which to do.
