Bathroom scale tricks
That is funny because i actually do about half of these, especially the towel bar one, hey I can get my scale to fluctuate almost six pounds by doing this, then I step on it for real, Yikes.

Another newbie
Hello, I did atkins for eight months after my third child, I stayed on the induction phase though and would not recommend you do that for more than three months at a time, even though the pounds melted off (55 lbs.) you tend to loose most of your weight the first six weeks (30 lbs.) you start to feel weak if you stay on induction for too long. Also stay away from sugar free candy, (the sugar alcohol does slow weight loss) as much as you can. And just like the book says L-glutamin does stop cravings for the first two weeks and then you really dont have any you cant handle after that. I had my fourth child 11 months ago and have started south beach just today. I just cant bring my self to do atkins again. Good Luck!

dieting while breastfeeding
Hi, Im currently nursing my almost one year old (june 25 is her birthday) Dieting is hard when your nursing, the only diet i would dare do is south beach because your calories are not limited and it lets you eat health foods, (just not fruit or white flour, sugar) you can take supplements to make up for them. And you can still drink skim milk, which is important. You can also start adding things back in two weeks. Ive found it works better if you exercise a little while on the diet though. More baby fat comes off.

sugar alcohols
Ive been on Atkins before and lost 55 lbs. I lost 30lbs in the first six weeks. After that I started eating sugar free candies with sugar alcohols instead of real sugar, It slowed my weight lose even though it says it shouldnt, if your having trouble, try cutting these sugar free candies out and hopefully it will make a difference.
