Is it absolutley necessary to eat 20G of net carbs a day?
ALWAYS eat a salad before a meal. Load it up with acceptable veggies. I have a hard time getting 20g most days BUT I always, always load up on veggies with every meal and it's usually in a salad. If a salad gets too boring for you, start making lettuce wraps. You can put almost anything in it (chicken salad, turkey, cut up steak or chicken, tuna) and dice up tomatoes, onion, celery, cucumber, peppers, or whatever you want.
