Back on the horse. I've gained back about 40lbs and I can feel it. I don't know how I did it. I mean I guess not giving a crap about what I was eating and not ever exercising might have had SOMETHING to do with it.
I've decided to do the Special K challenge to get back into the swing of things. Bring my calorie levels back down so I can get used to eating less. Also, the advent of Pinterest is really helping due to the fact that I found Skinnytaste on there and lots of exercise plans.
The weather here in NJ is absolutely horrible and I won't be able to get out and walk at lunch time which also doesn't help me, but I'll get something done tonight. I'm doing the 30 days full body challenge, and it consists of push ups, sit ups, lunges, and squats. 10 sit ups last night and I feel it in my abs. I hate exercise, but at this point it's a necessary evil.
Trying to set some realistic goals for myself. All I can think about is the delicious yet terrible for me food that I'll be missing out on. Lots and lots of holidays and birthdays coming up. I am going to try and make the best food decisions that I can for those times, and trust in myself enough that I want this and I will do whatever it takes.
Dropping my caloric intake has been rough, yesterday I had the shakes real bad at work, I had to have a 100 calorie pack before lunch. I was silly to think that I could do this without snacks, but now I have planned better and brought snacks with me to work. I did spill half of my breakfast shake this morning, so I'm probably a little lower than the 180 calories that I was supposed to have so far today. Meh, I'll make it.
So my new goals are as follows:
20lbs on or before June 28
30lbs on or before July 25
40lbs on or before October 3
I am giving myself extra time to get down the last 10 because I know it's the summer and between July and October I have so many birthdays and I'm going on vacation, so I know I'll gain some while on vacation.
Well, that's all I have for now. No promises, just hoping and wishing that I can do this again and that this time it'll stick.
