Current Weight:(09 Mar 13) 205.0 lb
Goal Weight:175.0 lb
following: Calorie Count
performance: losing 0.0 lb a week

I'm 40, and this is the 5th time (that I can remember), I am starting a weight loss program.

Over the years, I have lost 50 pounds twice, 40 pounds once, and 30 pounds once!

Each time however, I have regained the weight.

I am an emotional eater, and I have used food to make me feel happy.

Portion sizes, and fast food are my two big issues.

This time my first goal is to lose 36 pounds by June 30th, 2013.

My second goal is to lose an additional 15 pounds, six months after my first goal has been achieved.

This would bring me to 160 pounds - 51 pounds from starting weight.

To achieve my goals, and to end the cycle of yo yo dieting I must conquer my issues with food.

Feel free to add me as a buddy if you would like some support, and maybe we can help each other reach our goals.

How do I remove an item from my food diary?
If you click on the item you want to remove, and go into the spot where you can modify the portion size you ate, there is a button near the bottom of the page that says delete.

Snacks? Problems feeling full
I read a post last week about how you can spice up a plain rice cake and make a good low calorie snack. Some of the suggestions included, using them to creat a mini pizza (i.e. Rice cake for the crust), top the rice cake with egg and melted cheese, or spread them with cream cheese. Basically, anywhere you may have used some sort of wheat product, you can replace it with a lovely 35 calorie rice cake Smile

Cutting calories to lose weight
I'm a 38 year old male, trying to lose about 50 pounds.

I just signed up today, and have been on my diet for about two weeks - lost 5 pounds the first week - nothing for week 2 Sad

Trying to cut my calorie count by 500 or more calories below my daily required caloric intake to try and lose at least a pound a week _ would love to lose more. I lost a lot of weight 5 years ago, but have gained it ALL back Sad

I'm addicted to fast food, and spent most of the winter watching MAN VS. FOOD - but winter is over and it is time to lose weight!

Looking for new friends in the same boat, to help keep motivated in order to lose weight.

What do you truly wish for yourself besides weight loss?
I like everyone else's ideas - but on a fun note I am hoping to save some money by losing weight as small and medium sized men's clothing always goes on clearence because there are so few small and medium sized men around to buy these clothes Smile
