I am a married, night shift working, mommy. I am an X-Ray tech at a hospital. We have a farm and raise beef cattle. I am tired of getting fatter and fatter. I want the athletic body back that I had in high school. I am taking a cruise the first part of May with co-workers and I'm hoping to lose as much weight as possible before then. I am not sure what goal I will set after that, but I think having a goal helps to keep people motivated. I want to start running again. I have PCOS and insuline resistance. I had gestational diabetes while pregnant and took two shots per day. I do not want to have to do that for the rest of my life, so I have got to get this under control. I want to be the strong, confident and energetic person I was before gaining weight. My son will be 5 this month and I want to be more active for him. I enjoy sports and being strong, but being this heavy really hinders that, so there again, I want to get strong and sexy again. Luckily, my husband is great and loves me no matter what, and is very supportive of everything I do, but I want to get skinny for for us...I want to do so many different things, and it always seems like I let my weight hold me back. Sooo, I hope everyone has success and I am doing it this time!!

Anyone else have the fat secret app on their mobile phone?
I have been using it for two days, and have already lost 1 pound. Sooooo awesome. I would usually only make it thru breakfast journaling my food on paper. This makes it so easy. I am pumped about losing weight this time. This app takes so much work out of counting calories. You can seach foods that you do not have packaging for. I haven't used the barcode scanner, in fact I didn't even know it had one till I read these posts. I use it on my droid X and love it!
