Carbs
I think crystal light has aspartame.. which is not recommended on the diet, i was drinking it alot in the beginning and didnt lose any weight, but of course it might not affect you the same way..

Thank you for all of your replies to: Can someone explain this?
How can you blame a diet for personal failure? The diet doesn't cause someone to gain the weight, the person chooses to stop it and continue to eat. I know I gained weight, not because a low fat diet wasn't created properly, but because I decided to stop.

A diet is intended to help you lose the weight and learn how to eat healthier. It's suppose to help us learn how to eat a proportional amount of food. If at the end of my journey, after I lose the weight I want to and a few months pass and I have gained it back, I have nobody else to blame but MYSELF. Atkins did not put the food in my mouth, if anything, it taught me proper nutrition, how to pair foods together and how to make healthy choices.

The only way to gain back is to eat excessively and overly. If you're doing that, it's not the diets fault! I think blaming anyone else but ourselves if the biggest excuse and I think that is why weight loss becomes a failure. We need to acknowledge that yes, it was my fault.. I ate that, and I didn't exercise.

I just read this because I wanted to see the remarks.. and the only comment I can say is.. you guys preach to only discuss support and success, and yet you threw in your wise remarks?

Dont criticize someone for doing something that you yourself are participating in.. its childish.

Carbs on diet calendar
ya NC are only shown when you go into your diet calendar. I did the same thing and almost had a heart attack when I saw how many it said I had consumed, but then I realized it was regular carbs. So just go into your calendar when you want to check them. =D

atkins induction
Hi!

If you are in the Induction phase, you are eating TOO many carbs.. you should only be having 20 12-15 coming from veggies. You have to have a minimum of 1500 calories, the more the better.

Peanuts/peanutbutter are not allowed until you are in the OWL phase, which is after 2 weeks, or even later if you decide to stay in Induction longer.

I lost 13lbs the first 2 weeks and stalled after, I realized that its because I was eating too few calories and have tried to up them as much as possible.

So basically, up the calories, lower the carbs
