performance: losing 0.2 lb a week
I'm Michelle and about 16 months ago I lost 48 lbs doing Lean for Life (Lindora). Then I lost my job and was out of work for a year and gained the weight back...WITH INTEREST! I have a job now where I am lucky enough to work at home and can cook whatever Aktins meal inspires me. I am not tempted by others in the breakroom, nor do I hear the ignorant comments that I will die doing this type of eating.
With my head in a much better place, I am into Atkins and have experienced many health benefits from this program: PMS reduction, better sleep, no acid reflux, skin and nails improved, less swelling and very little cravings. I've also discovered a whole new world in vitamins and supplements. Currently I'm reading the original Atkins 72 book which is enlightening (also read the New Diet Revolution cover to cover). The NEW and improved Atkins program since the good doctor passed away seems to be leaning towards Lindora with their push of the mass produced corporate franken foods, which I am not a fan of.
Personal: I live in the Long Beach area of Southern California and work at home as a Recruiter. Married with 1 amazing son, 2 crazy dogs and an argumentative cat. Like many Americans the past 2 years have been quite a roller coaster for me, but I am lucky to have come through it only slightly singed and only needing to go on a diet again.
