Low carbers....is this a good plan for tomorrow?
A typical days Menu for me (I am in UK so forgive me if some things are named differently)

Breakfast
2 Fried Eggs, 2 Rashers Bacon, 100g Fried Mushrooms

Lunch
1 Can Tuna mixed with 1 tbsp Hellmanns Mayo (Full Fat), wrapped in Lettuce Leaves

Dinner
Chicken Breast, stuffed with Philadelphia Cream Cheese, wrapped in 3 Rashers of Bacon, 100g Spring Greens, 50g Cauliflower, 100g Fried Mushrooms

Snacks
Various Deli Meats (Pastrami, Ham, Chicken, Turkey), Peperami Salami Stick, Almonds, Pecans, Brazil Nuts, Pork Rinds, Celery

I do vary this and have different Veg (Celeriac, Turnip, Cauli Mash).....I also drink Tassimo Costa Americano Coffee with Double Cream.

This Menu is around 18-20g of Carbs, High Fat and Medium Protein, I also Cycle 30-60 mins 4 times per week and drink a MINIMUM of 3 Litres of Water per day.

Low carbers....is this a good plan for tomorrow?
I would go for a nice Cheese and Mushroom Omelette, with a couple of Bacon Rashers or
Scrambled Eggs with Cheese and Fried Mushrooms and Bacon.

I found that, if I restricted myself too much, I lost nothing.......it's difficult to get your head around the fact that, you CAN eat High Fat and High Protein whilst losing weight.

I am a Type 2 Diabetic, 18 Months ago I weighed 18St 1lb (253lbs) and 5' 7"......I was put on Insulin injections 3 Times a Day and my Blood Sugar was 18 mmol (324 mg/dl)
I started Low Carbing, I am now 13St 6lb (188lbs) and my latest Bloods Sugars (Hba1c) were 6 mmol (108 mg/dl).

I have been down to 12St 8lb (176lbs) but I slipped off the Low Carb and put on over 20lb in 3 weeks (it's that easy)...........I try to keep my Carb intake to under 20g, although I can tolerate more but if you try to cut out the Fat too, then you will find it difficult to lose weight.....just remember that Fat is your Friend with Low Carb, as is Plenty of WATER.

Feeling awful in Atkins. Day 10 Getting low blood sugar :(
I really don't trust many (if any) of the 'Low Carb' products on sale, after all, they will tell you what you want to hear, just to sell the product to you......they are simply after making a profit out of us.

Make your own, I say, then you know EXACTLY what has gone into it and how many REAL carbs it contains............it's probably much better for you anyhow.

Baking the veggies in the oven, drizzled with a little Olive Oil, salt and pepper.....simply delicious
