I have high cholesterol and triglycerides that are off the chart! My new doctor is checking my blood work to see if Im having an issue with insulin resistance. Im not diabetic but, I’m on 5mg of Crestor and she may want to add metforin for a period to help lose some weight and bring my numbers in line. Im starting not sugar, flower or wheat today so hopefully this will help and headed to the treadmill 30 minutes a day. Also no more wine, of which i hate but gotta do it.. wish me luck. Also quitting cigarettes on Jan. 9th its just my time.

Well Ive been doing it, dont know if its 100% correct although all my numbers line up for my weight. Today I am bloated and dare I say constipatedSad. When I look at my stomach today I want to cry, looked so much better up until yesterday. Also if you are losing weight and that is your goal as well as a healthy life style are you supposed to adjust your weight so that your protein, carbs, and fat intakes change? Feeling a little down....

Thank you. So you don’t feel the oatmeal has to many carbs and is still considered a low carb breakfast? It really sounds yummy!

Thank you. I though I was following a no carb diet but veggies have carbs!! It’s not easy.. any recommendations for no carbs in my diet?

This morning I made 2 scrambled eggs with onion,ham,Swiss cheese,broccoli and olive oil. All of that came to 484 calories and 6.4 carbs! It seems like that’s to many calories and carbs for trying to lose 15 lbs, any input?
