dessert
If you are looking for a rich and creamy treat, the Mascarpone Parfait from the atkins website might fill the need.

You can find it by searching the recipe database for all phases. You'll find it easily by using mascarpone as the key word.

The recipe calls for a packet of splenda I think, but I use a trace amount as it is too sweet for my taste.

It's versatile.I use sugar free amaretto, fruit syrups, chocolate, etc.

I love this dessert.

New to FS and needing Friend! :)
Hi There.

I'm fairly new here too. Feel free to add me.

My goals are similar to most of you, I think.

I am here to give and receive support, input and suggestions as well as just to chat or lend an ear. I neglected to mention encouragement and motivation!

I have alot of weight to lose and am on Atkins.

I've found this site very helpful on many levels.

No support at home
I feel your pain as well. My SO isn't agianst the weight loss regimen and is supportive to an extent.

It's always helped me to rid the house of all the bad stuff, but with him I cannot. He's eating all kinds of goodies and of course I cannot partake.

I gave in one night last week and felt guilty about it.

On Sunday he made two pies! Now he eats pie a la mode nightly.
I am glad I'm not hungry for those types of foods. The ice cream looks good though.

On another note, I had a lot of trouble the first few weeks. The first week I lost 7 pounds and then nothing. I went up a few and down a few. That was frustrating, especially with all the temptation.

Now I am consistently not hungry. Focusing on all the calculations gives me another tartget when He eats his Oreos...LOL
