Hi! My names is Veronica and I am a Design Engineer for a semiconductor company. I have had weight issues my entire life. I was a fat baby, a chubby little girl, an overweight teenager, and am now a morbidly obese adult. I grew up being told I was fat and that being fat was bad. However, being told I was fat did not discourage me from eating. In high school, I was physically very active and had my weight under control. Actually, my high school weight is my goal weight. I look back at my pictures and I was averaged sized for my build. If I could only see then what I see now, I think my high school and college years would have been a bit different. Anyway, I got to college and let myself go. The weight just kept piling on reaching a whopping 242 lbs! I never want to go there again. I now have plenty of health issues and need to lose weight. I need to take control of my life, health and happiness. I have been working on this these past 2 years. I exercise regularly now, which I have not done since high school, and I am now constantly monitoring my weight. But, I need to reach my goal. I have 60 lbs to go and I am challenging myself to do so by next March. I have the tools, I have the motivation, I need to stay on track...I have the tendency to go off course every once in a while.
